VanillaPlus WorldGen is a Vintage Story mod by vevi33. VanillaPlus WorldGen reshapes Vintage Story terrain into smoother, more realistic landscapes while preserving the variety of vanilla landforms.

Why this mod is worth installing
Choose it if vanilla terrain feels noisy, broken, or difficult to build on. It is useful for players who want calmer transitions between lakes, plains, hills, mountains, swamps, and glaciers without replacing the familiar world variety.
What VanillaPlus WorldGen adds
VanillaPlus WorldGen rewrites the surface landform generation rather than adding new ores, structures, or biomes. The result is less shattered terrain, broader usable flat areas, and more gradual changes in elevation while keeping the recognizable vanilla selection of landscapes.
Lakes, swamps, flatlands, raised plains, hills, mountain regions, glaciers, and cavernous hills receive more balanced generation. Swamps can contain abundant reeds and plants, while the overall map offers enough variation without turning every transition into a sharp or chaotic break.
The smoother terrain is easier to terraform and plan settlements around. The mod changes the landform definition, so structure-generation additions can still be used, but another mod that also replaces landforms will conflict with it.
The generation is especially suited to moderate world heights and works best when the landform scale is adjusted for taller worlds. Newly created chunks use the revised terrain, so adding it to an existing save can produce a visible boundary between old and new areas.
