Vanilla armory

Vanilla armory

Vanilla armory is a Vintage Story mod by WolfWarrior. Vanilla Armory restores unused weapon models and adds new vanilla-style arms, shields, bows, and armor for combat and collecting.

Why this mod is worth installing

Choose it if you want a broader medieval arsenal without complicated acquisition chains or excessive cosmetic variants. It also suits players who collect relics and prefer equipment balanced around distinct roles.

What Vanilla armory adds

Vanilla Armory turns the intact versions of ruined weapons into usable equipment and expands the selection with four swords, maces, axes, spears, and knives. These families are available across the metals used by the falx, including ornate forms, while two additional bows use models supplied by Kanahaku.

The armor selection includes iron and steel lamellar, improvised bone and wooden protection, and lore-focused armor sets. Lamellae can be assembled directly in the crafting grid, and bucklers plus a forlorn tower shield give defensive builds more variety.

Combat equipment is tuned so that weapons do not share identical statistics. Spears receive damage tiers, the boomerang adds another throwing option, and equipment supports quenching; swords and axes can be sharpened. Ruined weapons can also be restored as relics, giving exploration finds a practical purpose.
