Vanilla: Expanded is a Vintage Story mod by dsisco. Vanilla: Expanded adds practical quality-of-life tools, missing interactions, recipes, and small fixes while keeping Vintage Story’s vanilla balance.

Why this mod is worth installing
Useful for players who want less inventory micromanagement and faster crafting without turning Vintage Story into a different game.
What Vanilla: Expanded adds
Vanilla: Expanded lets you hold the interact button at a container to move matching items from your inventory in bulk. A radial quick-tool menu can also select tools, weapons, and healing items from your backpack or hotbar, while another radial interface can replace mode-selection menus for supported tools.
The mod adds an alloy calculator beside a crucible firepit. It shows ingredient ratios and stack quantities, lets you adjust the target output, and can place the required metals into the crucible. It also provides hotkeys for moving the brightest light source to either hand.
Several small additions improve everyday play: a respawn point is marked by a glowing gear, and lanterns can ignite suitable objects such as firepits. New recipes allow planks and firewood to become sticks, while bags and wattle pieces can be dismantled into components with material returns depending on the tool used.
