What Vanilla Varnished Planks adds
Vanilla Varnished Planks introduces ten treated wood variants, covering several varnished species as well as limewashed redwood. The selection is aimed at filling color gaps in the normal wood range, with options such as dark ebony, purpleheart, acacia, pine, oak, and bald cypress.
The new materials are made through distinct finishing processes rather than simple dyeing. Resin-based varnish recipes use different supporting ingredients, while oxidation, bleaching, sanding, and limewashing call for materials such as sulfur, iron hardware, leather, sand, alum, borax, or lime solution.
Treated planks and debarked logs can be used in building projects and can be crafted into most furniture and roofing blocks. This makes the added colors useful beyond decorative wall sections, especially when creating coordinated interiors, storage areas, and roof details.
