What Salty´s Movement: Vault & Roll adds
Press the vault key, set to V by default, when approaching a suitable obstacle. Your seraph vaults over it, allowing movement to continue without the usual stop caused by climbing or jumping around the obstruction.
The same key can prepare a roll while you are falling. An animation signals the active timing window; landing during it triggers the roll and reduces the resulting fall damage by 65%.
Vaulting over an obstacle
The character uses the default V key to vault over an obstacle. Correct timing preserves forward momentum instead of interrupting movement.
Preparing a landing roll
Pressing the vault key while falling starts the roll animation. Landing before the animation ends performs the roll and reduces fall damage by 65%.
