What Fauna of the Stone Age: Viverridae Plus adds
The pack introduces small omnivorous mammals from the Viverridae family and the related African palm civet. They are mainly active after dark, roam tropical and subtropical areas, climb across surfaces and can reach places ordinary fences do not protect.
Their diets vary by species and may include protein, fruit, meat, eggs, fish, insects and berries. Some animals raid berry bushes, hen houses or other small livestock, so keeping them near a settlement can create a practical nuisance rather than merely adding scenery.
Most species can be hunted for bush meat and hide. Each has its own pelt, which can be processed into hide or preserved as a full-body taxidermy display.
Adults can be bred by keeping a male and female of the same species nearby and feeding the required foods. Generational breeding gradually makes the animals less hostile and less likely to flee, giving patient players a way to establish calmer populations.
