What Warm Armor adds
Warm Armor assigns warmth values to several armor families. Brigadine, scale, and plate helmets provide a small bonus, while their body and leg pieces offer more substantial protection from cold. Leather jerkin and chain armor also contribute warmth when worn.
Lamellar armor is warmer than ordinary clothing but gives a smaller bonus than the heavier sets. Gambeson pieces provide the strongest warmth values in the mod, especially the sewn and tailored body versions.
Warmth is not fixed independently of wear. As an armor piece loses condition, the warmth it provides decreases as well, making maintenance important for players relying on protective clothing during cold conditions.
