Weapon Pack Alpha - Rebalanced is a Vintage Story mod by JhonathanDj. Weapon Pack Alpha - Rebalanced adds a broad set of alternative weapons and retunes their damage, durability, range, recipes, and animations for PvE.

Why this mod is worth installing
Choose this mod if the original Weapon Pack Alpha feels too strong or weak. It suits players who want varied weapons that fit more naturally beside vanilla combat.
What Weapon Pack Alpha - Rebalanced adds
This PvE-focused rebalance turns the pack’s weapons into alternatives to falxes, spears, clubs, and scrap weapons rather than universal upgrades. Damage, attack speed, range, durability, stack sizes, and crafting outputs are adjusted across several material tiers.
The pack adds iron, meteoric iron, and steel versions of the khopesh, spatha, and epsilon axe, plus a smithing recipe for the khopesh. It also introduces 27 weapons, removes the copper tachi, and allows many metal weapons to be quenched and tempered; javelins are excluded from that treatment.
Several early weapons receive more distinct roles. The macuahuitl hits harder but wears out sooner, the bone club is weaker and now counts as a club, while the calacula scales with its wood. The throwing spear has reduced ranged damage and more conventional projectile physics, and the lead club is positioned as a craftable scrap-mace alternative.
Copper-era weapons are differentiated through trade-offs: the chakri becomes a durable but weak ranged option, the mambele specializes in ranged damage, and the katar trades reach and power for very fast attacks. Many weapons can also be placed on a tamed elk, with polearms, throwing weapons, and the spiked dagger excluded.
