What Weather the Storm adds
Weather the Storm changes only the drifters created by temporal storms. Their appearance is checked against the light level, so storm-spawned enemies can be prevented from appearing in brighter areas.
A second check keeps these creatures from spawning too close to players. The default distance is 12 blocks, while the maximum permitted light level defaults to 7; both values can be adjusted when needed.
The mod does not change ordinary surface drifters. Its purpose is narrower: make a lit, distant indoor refuge a meaningful answer to temporal storms without relying on decorative piles of rocks.
