What Simple Weight Mod adds
Simple Weight Mod assigns weight to carried items and blocks. As the load approaches the character’s capacity, walking speed decreases; once the limit is exceeded, the player can no longer move or jump normally.
Weights can be set with ordered wildcard rules, legacy item and block mappings, or the built-in Weight Oracle. The oracle categorizes uncovered content and writes initial values for tools, weapons, armor, ores, materials, food, clothing, and other objects, including modded additions.
Backpacks, baskets, sacks, and mining bags can increase carrying capacity instead of adding burden. Capacity may also depend on health, character class, selected inventories, and configured slot ranges, while shape and stackability adjustments help distinguish slabs, stairs, walls, fences, and gates.
