Drinkable Interaction Ordering Patch is a Vintage Story mod by YangWenLi. Drinkable Interaction Ordering Patch changes entity interaction ordering so mods can feed milk, alcohol, and other drinks to entities.
Why this mod is worth installing
This patch is useful for modpacks whose creatures, machines, or other entities must accept drinkable items. It mainly serves as a compatibility dependency for drink-feeding mechanics.
What Drinkable Interaction Ordering Patch adds
The mod applies a Harmony-based workaround to the order in which entity interactions are checked. This removes a restriction that normally prevents drinkable items from being offered to entities that do not support drinking in the expected way.
It does not add new beverages, creatures, or a user interface of its own. Its purpose is to open this interaction for other mods, including scenarios where milk is given to drifters or alcohol is supplied to locomotives.
This is deliberately a temporary and intrusive patch rather than a complete gameplay system. Because it changes interaction behavior at runtime, unusual conflicts or bugs may occur in setups that also modify entity interactions.
